It's been a while. This is a bit of a review.

Hello there, my angel-faced friends. First of all, I'd like to apologise for taking so long with this - as you know, I was away last week so couldn't post as usual on Thursday (is that usual? it feels usual, I don't know.) But I didn't get ANY writing done while I was away. Then again, I don't know why I expected to get any done when I was being beaten up by a 10-year-old and a 6-year-old.
Anyway, I've been pretty busy since I've been back, what with unpacking to wash things, then re-packing to come back to uni, then having an oral exam in Journalism, a looming coursework deadlines and two looming exams, I thought I'd just sit here, and list some things that I've been impressed by lately. Think of it as a review, the reviews have been popular in the past.

So, the first item on my list - the weather. The weather in Britain has been a complete atrocity for ages. If you're not in Britain, then let me clarify this - our winter lasted from October, until last week. The sun has been out now for three days and by typing this, I'm completely jinxing it, and actually, as I'm typing, the sun is going behind a cloud.

Secondly, there's a little pub in Lynmouth, North Devon called The Village Inn. I'll include a link to the website here. Basically, I'm impressed with everything about this pub, to be honest. They allow dogs, they make all of their meals fresh in the kitchen and bring it to you hot, they make you feel like a regular in there, even if it's your first time. In short, it's my favourite pub in the world, and if you ever happen to go in there, try their Steak and Ale pie. Oh, sweet Jesus their pie!

Thirdly, is something which JUST happened. I got an email through yesterday from The Body Shop with their new 'Spin to Win' feature, so I did it and got 35% off of my order. I placed an order at 11:30am yesterday morning, and my order turned up at my house today at 4pm. That kind of turn around is amazing. I didn't pay for any kind of special delivery or anything. They only deliver to the UK at the moment, but their products are so good and all natural, and with the aforementioned spin to win offer, you can get money off or something for free, so check that out.

I think for now, that is everything which I can explain fully, I've probably been impressed by a cup of tea or the vegetable lasagne I made last night but that's not going to be of any interest to you. Neither is any of this post, in fairness, but hey ho!
I'll come and be creative at some point in the near future.

                                                    Thanks for reading! Laura

  1. I wish you all the best in all your exams and projects. The picture of the Inn looks awesome :) Yummy, I'm sure the lasagne and the cup of tea was great, although I prefer coffee any day :) Count me in as a regular fan here.

    1. Thank you, this is the sweetest message! I'm sure they'd make you a coffee if you asked them, like I say, they're awesome!
